Flat RoofSkyLights
Your Local Flat Roof SkyLight Supplier & Installer...
This innovative and practical aluminium rooflight system is available in Fixed, Ventilation or Egress versions and a wide range of sizes. Units are designed with the minimum use of glazing bars and have narrow sightlines to provide the look of a frameless system. All profiles have polyamide breaks which provide excellent thermal efficiency.
Profiles can be single or dual colours, such as when a white finish internally and black externally is required for example. The system has also been designed to allow the glass to be removed in the event of double-glazed unit failure. The glass is bonded to a PVC cassette, which is easily removed and replaced if required.

Frequently AskedQuestions
We know how important it is to have a New Flat Roof Skylight for your Home or Newly Built Home Extension. So we’ve put together a small list of questions that are commonly asked to our Team of Experts.
The Maximum Width that you are able to achieve on these Flat Roof SkyLights is 1100mm, anything over this width makes the glass sustainable to bowing under it's own weight.
The Maximum Projection that you are able to achieve on these Flat Roof SkyLights is 2500mm, this is subject to having a glass divider at mid points to ensure that the glass is supported along the run.
Typically, a skylight can last between 8-15 years, depending on how well it was installed and the quality of the skylight's manufacturing. Additionally, incorrect or improper installation can lead to a leak from the skylight edges (not through the skylight) where the skylight meets the building frame.
This is known as 'Deflection' and means that without pitching the rooflight up slightly at one end, rainwater will accumulate and begin to 'pond' on the glass. When this evaporates it can leave unsightly marks and stains behind.
Skylights must have weatherproofed up-stands at a height of 150mm. Some manufacturers include rain check kerbs that can sandwich and 'trap' membranes to ensure a watertight seal.
To install a Flat Roof SkyLight, the roof structure will generally need to be altered to create the opening. The roof will have to be able to carry the load (weight) of the new SkyLight.
